Why does it take so long? - learning english
How do you thing? Why learning of the langauge takes so long?
Most of us try to learn english for few years and how we see, the results aren't good:/
Is it all because of our teachers, our motivation or maybe there's something wrong with technique we use?

I think that is very hard to learn english when you can't use all knowladge in practise. You learn language only at school or on private lesson but you don't able to let say "meet" with english everyday. If you have possibilities to talk with somone who talks only in English or you have time to watch BCC, CNN etc. or some movies then you are on the best way to learn, I think all foregin languages really quickly. Sum it up I agree with all examples which you given. So you could say that everything is guilty and we should change teachers, be more motivated and use other technique. I think we can not give any single answer on this question

Re:Why does it take so long? - learning english
I've always liked learning English, but in some moment I had to stop for a longer while because of my study on University. I regret this because now It is hard to start over. I don't remeber a grammar and words (vocabulary). So everyone who is learnng English listen me - No matter how hard it is for you don't give up. For a few years You will speak English fluently :)

You're right...I'm intrested in learning foreign languages...I have lived in Poland since i was a child, I've never been abroad, so i don't know how it looks like...I had a great teacher in school, we could talk in english during the lesson, everyday we had tests...There was awesome! I also watch BBC, CNBC every day...I've started watching american movies, reading english books...and i'm chatting on english chat:P:P:P it also helps.

It's pretty simple: either you wan't to learn new languages or not. And choosing your favourite is also helpful. That's my case with English. I always feel good and self-confident when I'm talking/writing in English. Watching american movies with original sound is also helpful. I remember watching sitcoms with polish lector and I was always laughing only with actors, not lector.
Is it hard to learn English? Not really, english is one of the easiest languages to learn. It's not complicated, after a year or so you can talk and write on a pretty high level. You just have to work hard :)

hi,
I think that the most improtant is motivation. It's hard to continue because many people very rapidly resign. yes, I star over to learn english. It's hard, but I must improve it. One foreign language is nowadays unambitious ;)
